Therapy for Helping Professionals
Dedicated Mental Health Support for Therapists,
First Responders
and Medical Professionals
Providing in-person therapy in Carmel, Indiana, and online therapy sessions for clients throughout Indiana, Colorado, Florida, and New Mexico.
You spend your days helping others - our conversations can create a safe and dedicated space for you to process, navigate burnout and compassion fatigue or to address secondary trauma. I offer specialized Somatic IFS and Trauma therapy where you can pay attention to your own system and release some of the heavy weight that comes with a job as a helping professional.
Confidentiality is an important part of my work -as a private pay provider, I do not work directly with insurance companies. This standard ensures your care remains completely confidential and your personal health information stays fully protected.
For Therapists
Our sessions will be a collaboration - I respect and honor the training and knowledge you bring into the space. We can hear from the professional in you who carries the mental load of helping others. Exploring the (inevitable) moments of transference and countertransference from your sessions as opportunities to heal your own ‘stuff’ can be a valuable skill to being an even better therapist.
We can also welcome the parts who might struggle with certain aspects of life and/or relationships and help with curiosity and compassion.
For Medical Professionals
You spend your days caring for others, have to turn off your own emotions so that you can help the next patient, and work in a system that is deeply broken.
Our conversations are a space for you to put down the clinical armor to process your stress and feelings of burn out.
We can also look at your personal life - does the stress of your job bleed into other relationships? We can explore strategies that will allow you to leave work behind and find more peace outside of work.
For First responders
In your line of work, you encounter more trauma, chaos, and crisis in a single shift than most people face in a lifetime. Over time, the hypervigilance required to stay safe on the job makes it incredibly difficult to turn it off and relax at home.
You don't need to waste time explaining the basic culture of your station, house, or precinct to me—I get the unique weight of the uniform. This is a strictly confidential, judgment-free space to unpack the cumulative stress of the job, address PTSD, and process the calls that stick with you.
